Some new developments to the VIXEN setup are seen here applied to TLT. What we are looking for is a multi confirmation of a volatility cross to signal an entry or exit. The idea of using several overlays simultaneously should have occurred to me years ago when I first start using the VIXEN but even an old dog like me can learn new tricks. As the Mosaic project gets its finishing touches a separate VIXEN module based on daily bars has been added to the Situations to provide yet another profit center. Exactly why this portfolio of Focus ETFs/stocks was chosen will be explained in future posts but for now its important to note that A, S, T, and X are ETFs of varying degrees of price volatility and beta that have been shown to have high negative correlation with the Focus EtF/stocks. The result is a graphical signal (as in TLT above) that more clearly shows the ideal point of entry and avoids the “floating” entry dilemma.
